Returns Policy - Applicable to All Products
If you change your mind, Canadian Automotive Equipment.ca offers an easy-to-follow Return Policy on all of its products. Our Parking and Commercial 4 Post Lifts, Hobby and Commercial 2 Post Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Motorcycle Lifts, Tire Changers, Wheel Balancers and various accessories can be returned.
We will accept any new, returned item, purchased from current in-stock inventory, provided they are in sellable condition.
- All returns must be in unused condition.
- All new returns must be in their original packaging.
- No restocking fee will be charged, if the return is within 30 days from invoice date.
- Items returned after 30 days from invoice date may be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.
- Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- All electronic/software products are not returnable once opened.
- Special/Custom orders are not returnable.
- Drop shipped items, directly from the manufacturer will incur a 35% re-stocking fee.
- Items are not returnable after 30 days from purchase date.
You are responsible for reaching out to a Canadian Automotive Equipment.ca Customer Support team to submit a return claim upon which an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) will be issued to accompany your return.
Our Customer Care team will require a photo of the product, a copy of your invoice, the serial number (often located on the back of the machine), and the reason(s) for return.
All items returned for credit must be clearly marked with (RMA) number on the outside of the box and shipped back to the address as instructed.
Once the Customer Care team has approved your return, they will provide you with the necessary shipping details for the return.
Upon receiving your returned item, it will be inspected by our Customer Care team, to ensure that all parts/pieces have been returned in their original packing and show no signs of damage or use. Once the return has been deemed valid, you will receive your credit back with 3-5 Business days.
Any unauthorized returns or returns with damaged or missing pieces will incur a 35% processing fee. Please follow the above-listed return preparation instructions to avoid this fee.
All products sold by Canadian Auto Equipment.ca are covered by our limited manufacturer's warranty repair/replacement policies only. Please click one of the links at the top of this page for detailed product warranty information and/or refer to your product manual for warranty information.
Any merchandise shortages or receipt of incorrect items must be reported within 5 days of receipt of shipment. Claims submitted after this time will not be honored. Report all merchandise shortages to our Customer Care team.

All shipping claims must be made immediately to CanadianAutomotiveEquipment.ca upon receipt of goods. All claims must be accompanied by a signed POD (Proof of Delivery) noting any damage.
