Canadian Automotive Equipment.ca – 2 Post 9,000lb., 10,000lb., 12,000lb. and 15,000lb. capacity vehicle lifts are covered under a limited manufacturer’s warranty.

Our manufacturer’s warranty covers the lifts to be free of production defects in material and workmanship. All structural components (upright columns, cross members, runways) are warranted for (5) years (s) from the invoice date. Non-structural components (cylinder, power unit) are
warranted for (1) year(s) from the invoice date. Standard wear items (hoses, fittings, cables, pins, pulleys, sheaves, sliders, plastic and rubber components) are warranted for (90) days (s) from the invoice date. Limited manufacturer’s warranty policy does not include labor or service and applies to the original owner only and consists of a part replacement only, excluding any shipping costs.

Our products are sold at a competitive price and therefore it is understood that the buyer/user of our automotive equipment is mechanically inclined or has access to persons that are qualified to perform essential and necessary maintenance and repair services.

This warranty does not apply to the following:

  • Commercial applications.
  • Normal wear and tear items such as hoses, fittings, cables, pins, pulleys, sheaves, sliders, plastic and rubber components.
  • Normal maintenance and adjustments or damage caused by malfunction caused by improper handling, installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness or operation.
  • Damage caused by corrosion of any kind.
  • Damage to components incurred during transportation or unloading.
  • Damage caused by improper lifting or overloading.
  • Any lift that has been altered from the original design or improperly repaired.
  • Cosmetic defects or blemishes that do not interfere with the functionality of the lift.

NOTE: ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BY THE MANUFACTURER TO BE VALID.

On behalf and in conjunction with the manufacturer, Canadian Auto Equipment.ca shall repair or replace within the warranty periods and at the manufacturer’s discretion, those parts returned to the CAE warehouse.  Canadian Auto Equipment.ca shall not pay for costs of ground transportation of said parts and/or no labor for replacement of said parts.  This warranty shall not apply unless the product is installed, operated, used and maintained in accordance with Canadian Auto Equipment.ca and its specifications set forth in the installation, operation and maintenance manual and instructions.  

The remedies described are exclusive and in no event shall Canadian Auto Equipment.ca or any sales agents be liable for any special, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind including damages for breach of or delay in performance of the warranty.    

PLEASE NOTE: Registration of the vehicle lift is required to receive the warranty coverage.  

We also have a list of service technicians that can come to your facility/house to assist you.  This service is at the customer's expense.

Any merchandise shortages or receipt of incorrect items must be reported within 5 days of receipt of shipment. Claims submitted after this time will not be honored. Report all merchandise shortages to our Customer Care team.
